The Environmental Defense Fund
The Environmental Defense Fund is a United States-based nonprofit environmental advocacy group whose mission is to preserve the natural systems on which all life depends; through science and economics, the EDF aims to find practical and lasting solutions to the most serious environmental problems.
Dr. Beall is currently collaborating with Dr. David Hardisty to fulfill the specific directives of the EDF by
investigating the role of attribute framing on consumers' climate change policy support and pro-environmental behavioral intentions. So far this work has resulted in a peer-reviewed publication (forthcoming; Journal of Environmental Psychology) and insights from this work are being cited in discussions with climate change policy makers to inform real-world carbon pricing recommendations within the commercial aviation industry.
