Dr. Alec Beall has over 10 years of academic research experience investigating human social cognition, motivation, and visual attention, as well as over 3 years of professional research experience collecting and interpreting real-world consumer preference data to produce reliable, actionable, and practical solutions for clients and stakeholders. He received his Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2016. He is currently an applied consumer researcher with the Environmental Defense Fund and a postdoctoral research fellow (Experimental Psychology) at the University of British Columbia.
